A photographer is seeing actual words in the white foamy surf that lingers momentarily on the sand as waves recede. David Paul Bayles photographs words like "joy" and "love" before sink into the sand.
First, I'm glad to see the Oceans speak English.
Second, I'm surprised we haven't seen "Help Me" or "Save Me" wash up. Now that would be something.
Third, one more -- surprise -- way that the oceans inspire. We'll take it anyway we can.
